New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan played a supporting role in his debut film ‘Deewana’. Rishi Kapoor and Divya Bharti were in the lead roles in the film. Shahrukh Khan is seen in the second part of the film. Its songs were also superhit with the film. Lyricist Sameer told in an interview that Shah Rukh wanted a hit song to be filmed on him. He described his heart in front of Nadeem-Shravan.

Shah Rukh Khan felt that all the good songs of the film have been given to Rishi Kapoor. Sameer said that Shah Rukh Khan’s request had caused the composer to be annoyed, but finally accepted his request. When Rishi Kapoor-Divya Bharti’s film ‘Deewana’ was released in the year 1992, Nadeem-Shravan was counted among the top composers of Hindi cinema. He had given memorable music for films like ‘Aashiqui’, ‘Sajan’ and ‘Phool Aur Kaante’. Sameer told Ashok Pandit’s YouTube channel that Nadeem had a deep respect for Rishi Kapoor. He wanted to create something great for him. He did the same. All the songs of Deewana are excellent.
