Why didn’t the flight not flown in a career initially?
He said, ‘To be honest, I do not understand till date why my career could not fill the flight in the beginning. Earlier I used to think a lot about it, but now I don’t think. I live in my own world and I think a big reason for this was that I had stopped going to the people for work, so they also stopped giving me opportunity.
Ronit Roy was able to eat food only 1 time a day
Ronit remembered the time that is still in his heart. He mentioned a small dhaba near Bandra station in Mumbai, where he often used to eat food. Due to financial constraints, he was able to eat only once a day and often used to eat two loaves with black lentils or spinach cheese.
There was no money to buy lentils and eat
He told, ‘There is a dhaba near Bandra station. It is a very famous dhaba. I used to eat there every night. He used to eat only once because there was no money. Kali dal used to eat two roti and spinach cheese in two rotis. One day it happened that I asked for only two bread and onion, because I had finished the money. They gave me two rotis and some pulses. I said that I did not ask for pulses, so they replied that no problem is from me. Today is your dal day.
Had to spend money thoughtfully
Ronit Roy said that even after making her Bollywood debut, he had to spend money very carefully, because his financial condition was not good even then. He said, ‘I had received 50 thousand rupees for my first film and that too was given to me in installments of 4 thousand every month. At that time it was a huge amount for me, but even after his debut, whatever films I did, the expenses could be fulfilled in some way. Actually, the money has never come, everything was just like passing away.
