The role of Nandkishore Awasthi won the hearts of people that he started to know in the industry and a pile of offers of films. However, after the release of this film, it was not easy for him for a few years. He told, ‘Both the roles proved lucky for me, but the offers that came to me after this film were almost all the Khadus father. I refused most offers. There was a fear that I would be a type cast.
