In an interview given years ago, Zeenat Aman said, “Rajesh Khanna used to live completely under control. Everyone used to follow him. I was shooting for ‘Aashiq Hoon Bahar Ka’. The shooting used to start too late. He used to decide when he would come, when he will shoot and when he would go. Everything was done according to them.”
Zeenat Aman told that he has done more films with Amitabh Bachchan than Rajesh Khanna. Talking about during the film ‘Don’, he said, “Amitabh Bachchan is very professional. He is a director and producer actor. An example of Amitabh Bachchan’s professionalism recently ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’ The director of Nag Ashwin told that during the shooting, Big B asked him, “Can I go to the washroom?” The director himself was surprised and said, “Sir, why are you asking me, you can do whatever you want.”
Later, Amitabh Bachchan wrote on this in his blog, ‘It was no humility. This is a very normal thing. The set belongs to them, the time is their, the director is the captain and I have an employee. If I want to go to the washroom, I should get permission from him. Amitabh has worked with every actress in his career. But in the man, his pair became a big hit with Amrita.
