Jagdeep Dhankhar had placed the actor’s side in Salman Khan’s black deer case and if he had not been there, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari had to spend many nights with Salman Khan.

During the shooting of Suraj Barjatya’s film Hum Saath Saath Hain in 1998, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari were booked for black deer. At that time former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was one of the lawyers who represented the case of Salman as well as other actors. When the Jodhpur police arrested the actors, then Jagdeep Dhankhar was the first lawyer who fought his case.

At that time, Dhankhar’s assistant Praveen Balwada told India Today, “When the Jodhpur police arrested Salman Khan in 1998, Jagdeep Dhankhar was the first lawyer to argue on behalf of him and other accused.”

During the Rediff interview, when questions were asked about the Salman Khan case from Jagdeep Dhankhar, he did not give a direct answer. While giving a demonstration of his excellent advocacy, he questioned the investment of the case and said that the actors are fully co-operating. Salman Khan got bail due to his arguments.

Jagdeep Dhankhar was not representing Salman Khan and the rest of the actors at the next hearing of the case. According to the news published in NBT, former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, while talking with Rediff on the Net, confirmed the representation of Salman Khan in the case.
