Salman Khan Sikandar: Filmmaker AR Murugadas has taken responsibility for the failure of Salman Khan’s ‘Alexander’. He admitted that he could not execute the film in a good way, due to which he was beaten at the box office.
The difference between ‘Alexander’ and ‘Ghajini’
The director also compared between ‘Sikander’ and his blockbuster film ‘Ghajini’ and explained why one was successful while the other could not work. He said, ‘I could make Ghazni because it was a remake. Something that I had already done. But Alexander was an original film and I did not feel the same control in it. I am not saying that I will not return to Hindi cinema, I will definitely do it, if I got my comfort zone. But when the audience cannot connect with my thinking, he affects me inside.
Aamir Khan’s ‘Ghajini’ was a blockbuster
AR Murugadas’s film ‘Ghajini’ was released in the year 2008. In this, Aamir Khan and Asin were among the lead in the leaders. The movie proved to be a blockbuster with a worldwide earning of Rs 194.10 crore at the box office. This is the first Hindi film to enter the 100 crore club in India.
Salman Khan’s ‘Alexander’ called disaster
Let us tell you that stars like Salman Khan’s ‘Alexander’ Rashmika Mandana, Nagarjuna, Satyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateek Babbar, and Sharman Joshi were seen. Made in a huge budget of about 200 crores, this film was able to earn only 184.6 crores worldwide and proved to be a disaster.
