In an interview to Vicky Lalwani, Amit Kumar said while talking about his father’s death that he had realized his death and that is why he was eagerly waiting for his son to return. According to Amit Kumar, he went to Canada for the film and his father gave him a long list of bringing him the same and said that if not, do not come home.

When Amit was returning, Kishore Kumar was afraid that nothing untoward would happen before he arrived. However, he did not know what would happen. The son of the late singer told that his father did not let his half -brother Sumit Kumar go to the swimming for fear of his death.
