New Delhi: Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu has accused actor Manoj Manchu of involvement in the theft of ‘Kannappa’ (Kanappa). Speaking to the media in Chennai on Friday, Vishnu claimed that two people who allegedly stealing hard disks were allegedly working for Manoj. He said that the incident took place four weeks ago, but after trying to contact Manoj and his colleagues several times, he decided to take up the matter to the police.
When the actor was questioned, do not ask too much on family issues
Artists of Vishnu Manchu and ‘Kannappa’ were in Chennai to promote their film on Friday. During a conversation with the media, he was asked about the ‘Kannappa’ hard disk case. Vishnu agreed to answer the question and appeals to the media not to ask much about their family issues. He further said that all families have issues and hence they would not want to talk about it during the campaign program. Responding to the question about the stolen hard disk, Vishnu Manchu said that the work of VFX is being done in three offices in Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Dubai and London. He told, ‘When a hard disk related to VFX was sent from Mumbai, it reached my father Mohan Babu’s residence in Film Nagar. it is common. We are three siblings and all our packages reach there, and our concerned managers go to pick it up. Similarly, the hard disk reached our father’s residence. It was handed over to Raghu and Charita, and since then they have been missing.

Dispute arises in brother-brother
Vishnu alleged that both people used to work for Manoj. He told, ‘You all know what happened in our family. We tried to reach Manoj through our friends, but to no avail. We do not know whether they stole it or worked on someone’s order. Only after these efforts, we lodged a complaint with the police. The actor also said that the hard disk is protected by the password. He further said, ’99 percent, you cannot crack the password, although one percent is likely. Even if they manage to leak footage, I urge everyone not to see the leaked footage. A lot of hard work has been done in the film.
Kanappa is based on the story of the devotee of God
‘Kannappa’, being made in the 200 crore budget, is based on the mythological story of Kannappa, a devotee of Lord Shiva. The film, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu, stars Vishnu Manchu in the lead role. Mohan Babu, Sarathkumar, Kaushal Manda, Devraj, Brahmanandam, Preeti Mukundan, Madhu and many other auxiliary artists are included. Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal will do the cameo in this fictional drama. ‘Kannappa’ is ready for a grand release on 27 June.
