New Delhi. Renowned actor Kamal Haasan is caught in controversy over the comment made on the language during the promotion of ‘Thug Life’. During an event on May 28 last day, he said in Chennai that ‘Kannada’ was born from Tamil.

The BJP leader also questioned Haasan’s right to make historical claims about the origin of languages. ‘Chhag Life’ will be released in theaters on 5 June.
