New Delhi. The matter is getting hot on Kamal Haasan’s disputed comment on Kannada language. The actor said in his controversial statement that Tamil language has given birth to Kannada, after which the people of Karnataka got angry at the actor. As soon as the matter grew, his statement from Kamal Haasan began to demand an apology, but he refused to apologize, saying that he would apologize when he felt that he had said something wrong. But they do not think anything was wrong in whatever he said.
After Kamal Haasan’s refusal to apologize, Kannada and Culture Minister Shivraj Tangdgi reacted sharply to the controversial statement that if Kamal Haasan does not publicly apologize, his films will be banned in Karnataka. According to Kannada and Culture Minister Shivraj Tangadgi, the decision has been taken by the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC).

He said that the film distributor and theater owners have also agreed with the decision that their films will not be released in the state until Haasan apologizes. The minister clearly stated, “No comments will be tolerated against the honor of Kannada language, Kannadiga and Karnataka.”

KFCC President M. Narasimhlu also confirmed the decision that the film ‘Thg Life’ will not be allowed to be released until Kamal Haasan apologizes till May 30. He said that this ban is not legal but the decision of the people itself, which has been taken in the spirit of Kannada language and culture.

Kamal Haasan reiterated on the other side that he would apologize only when he feels that he has said something wrong. He said, ‘If I am wrong, I will apologize, if not, then not. Please do not interfere in my life’s way. He also emphasized that he believes in law and justice and his affection for Karnataka is true.
Meanwhile, Kannada organizations and several political leaders have objected to Haasan’s comments. Organizations like Karnataka Rakshana Vedike have demanded to register an FIR and lodged a complaint at the Bengaluru police station. However, no FIR has been lodged so far.
