New Delhi: The Marathi film and television actor Tushar Gadigaonkar (34) committed suicide on Friday 20 June. There was no one at his house at the time of the incident. He committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan in his own house. According to media reports, his neighbors knocked on the door when Tushar’s phone did not get the answer, but no response was received from within. When the situation seemed suspicious, the neighbors broke the door and entered the house. The view inside was frightening, Tushar’s body was found hanging from the fan. Goregaon police station was immediately informed.
Phone sent for forensic investigation
The police have also recorded the statements of Tushar’s wife and father. Both of them told the police that Tushar was quietly and upset for some time, but he had no possibility of this step. The police have not received any suicide note or other suspicious material from the scene. Forensic examination of Tushar’s mobile and other electronic devices is being done to confirm any other angle.
