‘उसे क्यों, डेब्यू तो मेरा है’, आसिन से अवॉर्ड हारते ही बच्चों की तरह रोईं अनुष्का

New Delhi. Entry on screen is not easy, especially for those who have no godfather. Anushka Sharma is one of those names. She made her mark in Bollywood without any film background and became a successful actress, producer and businesswoman. Anushka Sharma, who started her career with modeling, got the biggest break in 2008, when she got an opportunity to act with Shah Rukh Khan in Yash Raj Films film ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. The film was well liked by the people. After this film, she was convinced that she would win Filmfare’s Best Female Debut Award, but another actress received this award. She was very sad and angry with the decision of the jury.

Many films were released in the year 2008. This includes films like ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, ‘Ghajini’, ‘Dostana’, ‘Jannat’, ‘Fashion’, ‘Rock On’ and ‘Singh is King’. More of these films performed tremendous at the box office. Anushka Sharma was confident that she would take the Best Female Debut Award with her debut film, but it did not happen. The award was received by the actress who had already done the film.

‘Cried like a child, Anushka’
In an interview of 2018, Anushka Sharma mentioned her pain. Anushka told that she was ‘unhappy’ and ‘angry’ after not receiving the award. She came in the show ‘Look Huz Talking with Niranjan’, where she admitted that she cried like a child when she did not receive the award. That year, Aamir Khan’s actress Asin received the Best Female Debut Award for the film ‘Ghajini’.
