Recently, Mumtaz told that Yash Chopra, founder of Yash Raj Films, gave him his heart. Many times she proposed marriage in front of Mumtaz but she used to reject every time.
In an interview with Vicky Lalwani, Mumtaz told that Yash Chopra often came to his house and regularly proposed marriage in front of him. But Mumtaz was never attracted towards Yash Chopra. This was the reason that Mumtaz did not marry Yash Chopra.
Asked for marriage 1000 times
Mumtaz was asked whether the news of Yash Chopra proposing him was true. He said, ‘Not once, he must have asked me for marriage 1000 times. But I did not love them, so how could I marry them? He used to say to me many times, O fat, I love you, marry me. But to make such a close relationship with someone, you have to love that person.
