New Delhi: Filmmaker-director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri posted on social media and asked the national symbol of India. Referring to the four lions of the Ashoka Pillar, he asked the fans whether they know about the real meaning of the lions? Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri shared a picture of her on Instagram, in which she is captured on camera staring at the national symbol Ashoka Pillar of India. He wrote in the caption with the picture, ‘Do you know what the real meaning of the four lions is?’

Ashoka Pillar is the national symbol of India. It was adopted as a national mark on 26 January 1950. Prateek was adopted with the motto ‘Satyamev Jayate’ taken from Mundakopanishad. There is a statue of a total of four lions in the national symbol Ashoka Pillar, who are sitting next to each other in four different directions. These four lions represent courage, pride, power and confidence.

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is busy shooting for his upcoming film The Delhi Files: Bengal Chapter. Recently, he told that the shooting of the film is going on in the final phase. He also appealed to the fans for crowdsourcing research by posting on social media. The story of the film is woven around the 1946 Kolkata riots. It also stars Anupam Kher, Govind Namdev, Puneet Issar, Babbu Mann and Palomi Ghosh in important roles along with Mithun Chakraborty. The film is directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri. Whereas, Abhishek Aggarwal and Pallavi Joshi are producers. The film, in collaboration with Tej Narayan Aggarwal and IM Buddha Productions, will be released in theaters on August 15.
