He received this award in the Best Actress category for his brilliant performance in his popular film ‘Chandramukhi’. The function of the 60-61th Maharashtra State Film Award took place a few days ago.
Amrita may not be in India on this occasion, but she expressed her happiness and said in a statement, ‘Today is a very special day for me. The identity that Maharashtra has given me matters a lot to me. Our entire team worked hard in ‘Chandramukhi’ – from the director to the spot boy. And today this hard work has paid off.
