Tinu Anand had said that he was given the ‘dirty work’ to Amitabh Bachchan to give Rs 5,000 for Khwaja Ahmed Abbas’s film ‘Saat Hindustani’.

He told that the film’s actress Nina Singh suggested the name of Amitabh Bachchan. However, Abbas said that Amitabh Bachchan will have to come to Mumbai at his expense and audition. Similarly, the superstar stepped into the city of dreams. Recalling that time, Tinu Anand said, ‘I was the one who took him to Abbas Saheb’s office. In the evening, I was given the dirty task of giving Amitabh 5,000 rupees for the entire film, whether it took one year to make a film or five years.
