Naseeruddin Shah started her career in 1973 with Shyam Benegal’s film ‘Nishant’, in which Shabana Azmi was in the lead role with her. After this, his acting in films like ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron’, ‘Masoom’, ‘Aakrosh’, ‘Paiyosh’, ‘Ardh Truth’, ‘Sarfarosh’, ‘Ishqiya’ and ‘A Weddingde’ made a special impression on the hearts of the audience. Naseeruddin Shah married actress Ratna Pathak in the year 1982. They have three children- Heeba, Imad and Vivaan. Apart from the acting world, Naseeruddin has also created a distinct identity. He had said that the 70s was the average phase of Hindi cinema and despite Rajesh Khanna’s success, his acting skills were limited. However, after criticizing Rajesh Khanna’s daughter Twinkle Khanna, she apologized for this comment.

Naseeruddin Shah is opposed to social issues

Naseeruddin Shah also spoke openly on social issues. When he accused Love Jihad of dividing the society, during the CAA-NRC dispute, Anupam Kher had even called ‘Joker’. He also commented on the favorite player of the country, Virat Kohli, described him as the best batsman in the world, but a ‘bad behavior’ player.
