New Delhi : Ajay Devgan and Ritesh Deshmukh’s film ‘Raid 2’ is performing brilliantly at the box office. This thriller film was released on May 1 and has received positive comments from people and critics. So far, it has crossed the Rs 85 crore mark, which has proved to be a hit. Film story and cast
‘Raid 2’ is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and it also stars Vani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla along with Ajay Devgan. This is the sequel to the 2018 hit film ‘Raid’, which was based on a real income tax raid by the Income Tax Department in the 1980s.
In the sequel, Ajay Devgan is once again seen as IRS officer Amay Patnaik, who investigates a high-profile income tax case. This time he has to face the powerful politician Dadabhai played by Ritesh Deshmukh. Vani Kapoor has replaced Ileana Dikruz in this film and played the role of Patnaik’s wife.
